Art Through Experience offers immersive experiences that allow viewers to dive into the multifaceted world of art. We have curated exhibitions featuring works from the Italian Renaissance, Impressionism, and Art Nouveau. Our experiences are unique in that they utilize modern technology to bring the masterpieces to life and allow the audience to explore the smallest details of the works. We also offer the opportunity to travel through time to explore the works of 10 renowned artists from the Industrial Revolution. Our immersive experiences are sure to be a memorable experience that art lovers of all ages can enjoy.

The exhibition will be held in an indoor venue.

• To experience the full From Monet to Kandinsky showing, guests should plan on spending approximately 40 minutes in the exhibit.
• To experience the full Italian Renaissance showing, guests should plan on spending approximately 30 minutes in the exhibit.
• To experience the full Van Gogh 360° showing, guest should plan on spending approximately 1 hours in the exhibit.
• To experience the full Great Impressionists showing, guest should plan on spending approximately 40 minutes in the exhibit.
• To experience the full Something Nouveau showing, guests should plan on spending approximately 32 minutes in the exhibit.

A printed transcript of the audio can be provided upon request for any hard of hearing needs. This transcript should be requested by the user with the personnel.

There are some flashing lights involved with the experience, use caution if affected by strobing lights. There is also a possibility for motion sickness with the various moving images on the floors and walls.

Food and beverages are available at the Salt Bistro. However food and drink are not permitted in the gallery space.

Seating is available, however it may be limited. Not every guest is guaranteed a space to be seated. Please let a staff member know if you need assistance finding seating.

For the safety and comfort of everyone, masks are recommended within the experience for everyone.

The Leonardo will begin playing multiple exhibits title per day (similar to a movie theater); for this reason, we advise arriving at least 5-10 minutes earlier than your scheduled ticket time and then heading directly to the exhibit space on the second floor. You may also visit other exhibit areas before your scheduled time if you choose to arrive earlier. Your exhibit will begin playing approximately five minutes after the scheduled time on your ticket. If you are late for this exhibit time, you may miss a portion of the exhibit. After the exhibit has finished, you will be able to enjoy the remaining exhibits at your leisure.

Art through experience is appropriate for all ages. However, the Italian Renaissance and Art Nouveau exhibitions depict small amounts of nudity.

Yes, there is parking available at The Leonardo. There is free two-hour meter parking available on weekends, limited two-hour parking available on some residential streets near The Leonardo, and the underground Library Square parking lot can be accessed on the south side of 400 S. Street meter parking is also available around the blocks surrounding The Leonardo. Handicap parking stalls are available on 200 E and in the Library Square underground parking garage. For school groups, there is a bus drop-off zone on the east side of 200 E and free street parking for buses and chaperone cars available 1 block south of The Leonardo on 600 S between 200 E. and 400 E. Paid parking for cars is also available in the underground parking garage (entrance on 400 S).

The Leonardo has 2 manual wheelchairs and baby strollers available for checkout with valid photo identification. They are available on a first come first serve basis or you may call the Guest Services Desk at 801-31-9800 to reserve one in advance of your visit.
